Your guide to setting up Pinage.
You've got this.

Where do I start?

With your subscription, you'll recieve a Pinage device for each screen. To start, simply find a well ventilated area to place your device.

Ideally, the Pinage device can be mounted on wall, however, mounting equipment is not included.

Connecting the Pi

This step differs depending on which kit you have purchased. The Pinage device must be given power, an HDMI cable, and an internet connection.

Whilst the PoE kit is most common, connecting via ethernet or via wifi is also possible.

Setup FAQs:

What comes with the Pinage kit?

Each kit includes the Pinage device, an HDMI cable, and either a PoE injector or a power adapter depending on your choice.

What do I need that isn't included in the kit?

You will need an HDMI compatible display and a stable internet connection. Wall fixings may also be required depending on your installation.

Are there any setup fees?

If you follow our setup guide, there are no additional fees. However, we can also provide instructions to a contractor, or one of our team members can set it up, each for a small fee.

How long does setup take?

Setup typically takes 10-15 minutes from unboxing to first content displaying on the screen, assuming your network details are to hand.

Should I use PoE or a power adapter?

For fixed installations, PoE is generally preferred as it simplifies cabling. For more flexible setups, a power adapter and connecting to wifi might be more convenient, yet will be less reliable.
